SUMMARY OF FOCUS GROUP INTERVIEW.
my focus group liked the setting used in the trailer, they said this was an effective choice of setting. They also said that the way the editing was done with the camera work was also done well. straight away from the weaknesses, someone said that the trailer could have been longer. although i had two versions of the trailer the shorter one being the improved one. i still need to go back and continue extending to the trailer in order to make it it meet my focus groups desires for a horror movie trailer. roughly 32 seconds in one of them says how i could expand on the trailer. just add more too it and that would make it look effective too. another weakness to the trailer is that the font to the captions could be changed be a bit bold . i asked them about a sans serif bold font and they agreed that a font that was more eye-catching would make the trailer be more appealing and effective. someone also said some of the editing could be slightly more fast passed. they said that its conventional in the way that the black and white and dark colors help make it more scary. they have also said that the characters and the structure is conventional for a slasher type horror which also makes my trailer more effective. they also gave it an average rating of 8 between them which is a good rating.
